FC5610 was rethought from precisely these experiences.
Ⅰ. Removing the Unnecessary, Returning to Essentials
Complexity in products often doesn’t come from functionality, but from structures that are simply taken for granted. Most portable water flossers still rely on exposed suction tubes. They take up internal space, accumulate residue over time, and may even create subtle noise during movement.
They exist — yet are rarely reconsidered.
With FC5610, we chose to start here.
By removing the suction tube and adopting a concealed water intake system, the internal layout is restructured to be cleaner and more efficient. The result is a more refined form —smooth, uninterrupted lines with a sense of restraint and precision.
Like a sheathed blade — understated, yet sharp. Good design is not about adding more, but about making the right decisions.
Ⅱ. Addressing an Overlooked Experience Gap
A detachable water tank is meant to offer flexibility. In practice, it often introduces inconvenience. While the tank can be removed, it is not easy to use independently once detached.
Refilling typically requires holding the entire device, and when placed aside, leakage can occur —a small issue, but one that happens repeatedly. This is not a missing feature, but a break in the user experience.
FC5610 does not work around this problem — it resolves it.
We redesigned the tank sealing structure with a 45° valve mechanism:
- The valve automatically seals when the tank is detached
- The tank can stand upright and be filled independently
- Once reattached, water flow resumes seamlessly with a secure seal
A small structural adjustment, but one that makes everyday use noticeably smoother.
Instead of users adapting to the product, the product adapts to real usage habits.
Ⅲ. One Structure, Multiple Possibilities
A well-engineered structure creates flexibility. FC5610 supports both Type-C and figure-8 power interfaces within the same product architecture — without the need for new tooling or redesign.
This allows brands to adapt efficiently across markets:
Offline retail channels can align with local standards
Online brands can adopt widely compatible Type-C solutions
At the same time, colors, finishes, and interface elements can be customized, enabling clearer brand expression beyond functionality.
